Our guests warm to the charm of Rye Windmill and
one of the highlights of their stay is the freshly cooked breakfast
served in ‘The Granary’. Our philosophy is ‘The best ingredients,
cooked to order’. This includes local award winning sausages, local
free-range eggs and vine-ripened tomatoes. During weekdays in the winter months,
and by prior request, we can serve home-made pork and apple patties
and potato cakes, black pudding, and a ‘fried slice’. A continental, vegetarian and gluten-free
breakfast are also
available.
At breakfast guests have a choice of five fruit juices including the celebrated pear and apple juice from Owl House Farm in Lamberhurst. There is also a choice of five cereals and a steady supply of toast, tea and coffee.
